Happy Happy Day!

Today we released a bunny who came to us a few weeks ago covered in flystrike, a condition where flies lay eggs on a living animal. This is a painful and often fatal condition. Luckily, a good Samaritan found the little guy abandoned and she called us right away and we were able to get him cleared of the fly eggs and get him started on recovery. He did great and was quite a character while he was with us. I snapped this picture moments before we opened the enclosure to let him come out on his own terms. It didn't take him but 5minutes and away he went so happy to be alive and free. :)
