This poor mama opossum was found wondering around a McDonalds parking lot bleeding heavily. Once we got her back to the rehab center, we discovered that she had a deep laceration on her foot, one of her eyes was badly damaged and her jaw was broken, and she was covered in punctures. It appears that a dog/ coyote tried to take on mama, but she fiercely defended her family and managed to get away from the attack.
