Our baby opossums have gotten tired of mash food and are ready for more natural diet material. In the wild opossums are scavengers eating anything they can find from plant material to dead animals.
Sadly, many animals that come into our wildlife center do not survive. Often times their injuries are too severe, or they were just found too late to bring them back to health. Mother nature is a cruel woman at times, she only wants the strong to survive to carry on a strong gene pool for the species. But one animals' loss is another animal's gain, just like lions hunting gazelle or humans hunting deer, everything has to eat to survive.
