The Squirrels Have Gone Nuts!

These 3 fox squirrels were brought in several weeks ago, they were chasing high schoolers as they got out of school, desperate for help. They were dehydrated starving and chilled to the bone. Since then, they have packed on the weight and are starting to wean off formula. They love their walnuts! They have made great progress and I plan to release them in the next few weeks. Upon release they will be supplemented food thru their first winter.
